A Hero Ability is a skill tailored to a specific hero class. Every hero has at least two unique abilities which typically correspond to their Ability1 and Ability2 stats (left and right ability slot respectively). Increasing the ability's stat makes it more potent and/or consume mana at a slower rate.

Hero abilities vary from direct attacks, to often toggleable buff/debuff effects that drain mana overtime, to utility moves. Most have a minimum level requirement in order for the character to use them.

Damage decreases with distance away from the origin point.

Instant Upgrade Instant Upgrade Instantly upgrades a defense for a raised mana cost.
Purity Bomb Purity Bomb Explosion radius is ~1.5x bigger than Mana Bomb's,

but does less damage to all except Dark Elf Mages and Skeletons.

FireBomb WheeI Icon Fire Bomb Casts a powerful slow-moving fireball.

Damage scales with Hero Damage exclusively.

Circle Slice Circular Slice A spin attack that (usually) hits twice and has strong knockback.
BloodRage Wheel Blood Rage Greatly increases Hero Damage and Speed while active.

Also increases her speed and damage resistance.

Piercing Shot Piercing Shot Fires a hawk that does high damage to all enemies in a straight line and through walls.

InvisibilityField Wheel Invisibility Field Cloaks the Ranger and all surrounding allies and defenses.

More expensive to activate and upkeep than Invisibility and has a much longer cooldown.

SpreadShot Wheel Piercing Spreadshot Fires three hawks that deal less damage independently than Piercing Shot,

but comparatively more to single targets if all three birds connect.

DarkShotIcon Dark Shot Deals void damage on hit and temporarily weakens the target(s) (bosses included). ✔️

Defense Boost Defense/Tower Boost Greatly increases the potency of all surrounding defenses

and gradually repairs them while active.

Hero Boost fixed Hero Boost Greatly increases damage dealt by the Monk and nearby allies

and regenerates their health while active.

Remote Defense Boost Remote Defense Boost Buffs the potency, range and attack rate of all defenses summoned by the Initiate and nearby allies. More expensive to activate and upkeep than Tower Boost and has a longer cooldown.

Redux: Simply boosts all surrounding defenses and does not require any builders to be present. Increases their resistance instead of potency.

Enemy Drain Enemy Drain Lowers the movement speed, damage and resistances of enemies in range while active.

AuraOfFire Wheel Aura of Fire The user emits a damaging aura for five seconds.

Scales with Hero Damage exclusively.

SEV Decoy icon Holographic Decoy Creates a stationary decoy to distract enemies, then explodes if not destroyed in-time.

Redux: Can also be deployed while airborne.

SEV ManaCharge icon Proton Charge Blast A devastating short-ranged beam that penetrates through enemies and terrain.

It must be charged up first by collecting mana while EV's arm cannon is raised up. The attack's duration depends on how much mana was stored.

TeslaBomb icon Tesla Bomb Fires a grenade-like projectile that explodes to inflict high lightning damage.

Scales off of Hero Damage and the Ranged Damage of EV's active weapon.

Summoner

PhaseShift Wheel Phase Shift Makes the Summoner immaterial to all enemies and defenses,

but disables pets and his ability to pickup mana and items. If "activated" while in Overlord Mode, the camera returns to its usual perspective.

RTS Mode Wheel Overlord Mode Activates Phase Shift if not already active, sets the camera to a top-down perspective and changes the controls to a scheme that resembles traditional real-time strategy games.

The Summoner cannot move while in this mode. Outside of combat, he can pickup items from anywhere on the map and move around items dropped inside the player's Tavern.

FlashHeal Wheel Flash Heal Restores his health and that of surrounding allies and defenses by up to 35% of their max HP.

In Overlord Mode, the spell is casted at the player's cursor. Redux: Can also be casted while airborne.

SummonKobold Wheel Summon Kobold Deploys a Kobold Minion to seek out and explode on enemies for immense fire damage.

Scales with Hero Damage exclusively.

Jester MoveTower icon Move Tower Allows the Jester to move any number of defenses within a radius; she herself cannot move while using this ability.

Cannot move minions or Tower Buff Beams.

WheeloFortuna square Wheel O' Fortuna Opens a three-slot machine interface that may yield one of many effects depending on the combination inputted.

The Jester cannot move while using this ability, and taking any damage will interrupt it.
Redux: "Damage All" (3-Swords) cannot hit the same enemy more than once.

ConfettiCannon Wheel Confetti Cannon Fires a very short-ranged burst of damaging confetti.

Scales with Hero Damage only.

Tornadostanceicon Tornado Stance Ups the Barbarian's jump height, movement speed and attack speed,

at the cost of dealing less damage.

Lightningstanceicon Lightning Stance Weapon attacks can stun most non-boss enemies not immune to lightning,

but each successful hit also damages the Barbarian. Redux: This ability instead adds 50% lightning damage, 35% for Hawk Stance. There is zero recoil.

Leechstanceicon Siphon Stance Weapon attacks replenish health equal to a percentage of the Barbarian's max HP,

but his damage resistances are reduced.

Turtlestanceicon Turtle Stance Reduces the Barbarian's jump height and his movement speed and damage taken by 90%.

It also reduces his attack damage slightly and protects him from Spider webs.

Hawkstanceicon Hawk Stance Turns the next melee attack into a forward smash that does HUGE damage with both weapons.

Disarms the Barbarian for a few seconds afterwards.

Battleleapicon Battle Leap A homing jump attack that deals high damage to the target with both weapons.

Turns off any active stances.

Battlepoundicon Battle Pound A strong three-hit combo that consists of two side swipes followed by a ground pound finisher.

Turns off any active stances.

Notes[]

  • Not a single Redux-exclusive ability is binded to a hotkey/controller input by default. The player can assign them by pressing a number key from 0-9 (or D-pad direction on a controller) for <2 seconds, while it is highlighted in the Action Wheel.
