Instead of defending, the heroes must attack and destroy three Eternia Crystals. The map features a static collection of defenses and enemies, and offers a few different routes.
Almost all ranged attacks are restricted to a maximum distance of about 2–3 meters. You will be within range of enemy towers before you can attack them yourself.
A hit-and-run tactic is effective for eliminating towers; run towards a tower, shoot it once or twice, retreat before its projectiles hit you, and repeat until it is destroyed. One can use the Squire's block ability to give other players more room to shoot, but this may be difficult with the limited movement due to traps.
When forced to traverse an Ensnare Aura, one should jump immediately before coming into contact with it because it does not affect a player until their feet are touching the ground while inside.
The Apprentice's Mana Bomb has twice the range of normal range attacks, and inflicts a significant amount of damage to crystals. However, it is very expensive and can be easily interrupted. On Medium difficulty, the Mana Bomb with +20 bonus can reach the last crystal from below.
