Costumes, sometimes referred to as "skins", change the appearance—and sometimes even the abilities—of various hero classes. Costumes may be bought as Downloadable Content, or they may be rewards for completing certain challenges or achievements.

To use a costume, go to the select your character screen, right before finding a game, click "change character", click "edit hero" after you've selected your hero, and click "change costume" until your desired costume is shown.
