The Lava Slinger is an Apprentice staff. It is awarded for completing the Volcanic Eruption Challenge.

Notes

Shoots magma balls similar to the Ancient Dragon's fireball attacks.
While all base damage is converted to fire damage, the staff can also have an additional elemental damage stat.

Lava Slinger's secondary attack has a cosmetic incendiary effect in addition to the normal knockback burst.
Lava remains for a few seconds on surfaces hit by the magma balls.
