Piercing Spreadshot is a Ranger skill that fires three fiery bird that will pass through any monster including ogres, inflicting very high damage.
Usage
The Piercing Spreadshot costs 50 mana to use. As the three shots pass through every enemy and any obstacle, Piercing Spreadshot can be used to rapidly clear out entire lines of enemies for minimal cost. At a cooldown of roughly 4-5 seconds, this skill can be casted repeatedly and is a great way of increasing damage per second inflicted on Ogres and Bosses. For the mana cost, this is by far the most powerful single use skill of all classes along with the Huntress' Piercing Shot.
Leveling and Costs
To increase the damage of this skill, a player should raise the Piercing Spreadshot stat, Hero Damage stat, or the Ranged Damage on a gun or bow. Elemental damage has no effect on Piercing Spreadshot's damage. This means players should strive to maximize the ranged damage potential of a weapon. Note that weapons which inflict elemental damage in place of physical damage such as the Dancing Cavalier will still boost the damage. This makes Piercing Spreadshot a way of killing enemies immune to that element.
